Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts
1953
Pewter and Rosewood
Set includes coffee pot with lid (12 3/4”H), sugar with lid, and creamer. 5 pieces total.
Important early metalsmith work that was handmade by Paul Evans while at Old Sturbridge Village. Evans was the first independent-living craftsman in the metal shop at Sturbridge. Not many of these sets were produced or become available on the market today.
Very good original condition. Light scattered scratches and scuffs to areas consistent with age. Some dust accumulation on handles and lids. No dents or dings. A very well cared for set that displays beautifully.
