Historically important table made by Alcoa for the Mellon Bank interior in Pittsburgh, 1924. This commission was the company’s first experiment into making aluminum furniture. Very few pieces from this project remain, and to our knowledge, only one other example of this table is known to exist. The table has remained in Mellon’s collection for the last 100 years.
